AdBlue® ISO 22241 Specifications

AdBlue®, also referred to as Diesel Exhaust Fluid or DEF, is sprayed onto fumes after combustion to reduce harmful emissions from diesel-powered engines before they leave the exhaust. We’re a VDA-licensed supplier of AdBlue® that meets ISO 22241 specifications and can make our deliveries anywhere in the UK.

AdBlue® ISO 22241

AdBlue® is stored in a separate tank to diesel and is added to the exhaust fumes prior to them being expelled from the vehicle. Using AdBlue® drastically reduces NOx, carbon monoxide and particulate emissions, reducing the environmental impact of your fuel consumption.

ISO 22241 is an internationally-recognised standard that indicates the quality, physical and chemical properties of AdBlue®. All AdBlue® tanks and diesel engines are built with ISO 22241 in mind which is why it’s important that your AdBlue® is of the highest quality and meets this standard.
