What are the BS 2869 specifications?
BS 2869 is a British Standard for fuel oils for agricultural, domestic and industrial engines and boilers. Differing to EN 590, which is a standard for automotive diesel, BS 2869 comes in 4 different grades, with each having specific use cases and levels of sulphur content.
