If you’re looking for a cost-effective alternative to BS 2869 gas oil or EN 590 diesel, we can supply industrial heating oil (IHO) for commercial heating, boiling and drying applications. Our industrial heating oil is compatible with EN 590* and BS 2869 Class A2 and Class D specifications, and we can supply as much fuel as you require within 24-48 hours anywhere in the UK.
*Please note that industrial heating oil is not to be used as fuel for a road vehicle, off-road vehicle, vessel or any other machinery that is not an excepted machine.
BS 2869 is a British Standard for fuel oils for agricultural, domestic and industrial engines and boilers. Differing to EN 590, which is a standard for automotive diesel, BS 2869 comes in 4 different grades, with each having specific use cases and levels of sulphur content.
