August 2022 marks 4 years since Beesley Fuels became part of the Crown Oil Group. A lot has changed during this time, scroll down to see our key highlights!
Out with the old, in with the new
We’ve updated our logo, launched a new website and added several new tanker sizes to our fleet to ensure we can cater for our unrivalled growth. This includes our newly designed green tankers (which you can see below) that are dedicated to delivering Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)!
We’ve launched several new products
We’ve added several new products since joining the Crown Oil Group, including: HVO, GTL and carbon offset fuels to help you cut your emissions and Diesel Secure, a fuel marker to help you protect your fuels from rising incidents of theft.
We’re driving down emissions
In 2021, we switched our fleet over to HVO, a completely renewable diesel! It has many benefits, key amongst which being up to 90% lower net CO2 emissions, which enables us to drastically reduce our carbon footprint and to offset our remaining emissions!
We’re leading the way
In April 2022, the Group became the first fuel suppliers in the country to achieve carbon neutral status under the PAS 2060:2014 framework! We’ve accomplished this milestone by adopting energy efficient practices at every level of our business, running our fleet on HVO and by offsetting the total emissions released from our operations.
But our efforts aren’t stopping there
We have big plans to ensure we’re on track to achieve net zero direct emissions by 2030 or sooner. This includes switching to 100% renewable energy, supported by the use of solar panels installed on our sites, launching community initiatives such as tree planting and urging all our customers to switch to lower emission fuels.
